Dr. Goldsmith will be responsible for the continued growth of OMG while ensuring the quality of patient care and corporate culture remains at the highest level.

Dr. Goldsmith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Michigan, a master’s degree in Applied Physiology from the Finch University of Health Sciences, and a medical degree from the Chicago Medical School. Dr. Goldsmith joined his father, Dr. Stuart Goldsmith, at OMG in 2008. Dr. Goldsmith is a practicing orthopaedic surgeon and one of the region’s busiest total joint surgeons. He will continue in his clinical role performing more than 500 total joint replacements per year, as he assumes the CEO responsibilities.
Orthopaedic Medical Group is one of the fastest-growing orthopaedic practices in Florida. OMG provides a full array of musculoskeletal services at seven office locations, stretching from Pinellas County, throughout Hillsborough County, and into Polk County. The company credits this growth on its continued focus on quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and delivering excellent orthopaedic care. Dr. Goldsmith noted, “OMG has always taken pride in accepting all insurances and working closely with primary care physicians to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner.” According to Dr. Goldsmith, “While OMG has turned into a large company, it will retain its roots as a responsive provider to the local communities it serves.” He shared that the company will be opening a 37,000-square-foot medical complex in the Fish Hawk section of Lithia, Florida, later this year. OMG’s Board of Directors is proud to have Dr. Goldsmith leading the practice’s growth in 2021 and beyond.
