Casandra Properties announces the launch of South Shore Commons’ new Tesla Supercharger station located on 2925 Veterans Road West, Staten Island, NY 10309. James Prendamano, CEO and Associate Broker of Casandra Properties, Inc., negotiated the lease.
The South Shore Commons site is home to the only Supercharger station on Staten Island, New York. Currently, there are only two Tesla Destination Chargers on Staten Island. The South Shore Commons station features 12 Superchargers that are available 24/7 and offer up to 150 KW. South Shore Commons boasts a full array of food and beverage and shopping options to enjoy while charging your vehicle.
“We are proud to have been a part of bringing the first Tesla Supercharger station to Staten Island. The environment is always at the forefront, and having the opportunity to work with a landlord who shares in our vision for sustainability has been incredibly rewarding,” said James Prendamano.
“South Shore Commons offered me the opportunity to continue deploying best practices in sustainability. After installing the solar array on several assets at Gaeta, our transfer station on the North Shore of Staten Island, I saw South Shore Commons as an amazing opportunity to continue those best practices via the power of solar energy. When presented with the opportunity to negotiate a deal with a visionary company like Tesla, the decision was easy,” said Dave Berman, owner of South Shore Commons.
With over 25,000 Superchargers globally, Tesla owns and operates the largest global, fast-charging network in the world. Located on major routes in convenient locations with amenities, Superchargers keep you charged when you’re away from home. Simply plug in, charge, and you’re ready to go.
