Betterez, a Toronto-based travel technology platform re-inventing sales and inventory management in the Bus & Coach industry, has gone live with its SaaS platform at The Jet. The two companies also partnered to design and build several E-commerce and user experience applications, all built on the Betterez modern, API First platform.

“Working with The Jet and their partners, the Betterez team helped develop a slick, modern website with numerous customer experience features, including customer account management, faster booking flows for members, seat selection, and more,” added Shalit.
“There are a lot of systems in the market today for travel company sales. We wanted a partner who already had a proven ticketing backend solution but could add features and help us design and deploy a unique customer-facing experience as well,” said Chad Scarborough, The Jet founder and CEO. “Betterez already had the functionality we wanted for our bus service and was able to add new features related to premium-seat pricing, credit card storage, and more. Betterez developed our booking website pages and, after our successful launch, are providing a full IT-outsourced solution for our sales, operations, customer management, and reporting,” added Scarborough.
The Jet is changing the way people travel between D.C. and New York and Betterez is changing the way bus companies manage their sales and inventory. The two companies have engaged in a multi-year agreement for use of the Betterez SaaS, APIs, and E-commerce components and are looking forward to further enhancing The Jet’s passenger experience through the use of technology.
