What are some of the most fascinating projects you’re currently working on?
“My adaptation of “Liam John Neeson’s” mysterious action thriller flick is the most interesting and thrilling project I’m currently working on. His films inspired me, and I ended up making several of my own videos as a result. I’m bringing another mystery action thriller to the table that will captivate audiences—it’ll be a blend of fight choreography and interwoven with a tremendous visionary outlook.”
In addition, I’m working on an original dramatic psychological love story film in French that will be mind-blowing and something I believe the world needs right now. And lastly, I have an upcoming horror film — my first one from all my video series.
We notice in your videos that you are passionate about diversity; could you tell our readers three reasons why you believe it is critical to have diversity reflected in film and television?
“I’m fascinated by the entertainment industry’s diversity. Diversity is vital since there is no cultural connection without it. When a single race dominates an industry, it results in people lacking motivation since they only see that one race. By displaying diversity, every culture and race are represented, and it gives the impression that we can achieve anything because seeing is believing.”
In the film Diversity and Inclusion, actors portray various elements that can inspire kids to be anything they want in life, such as the next president, future teachers, physicians, and doctors. It has the potential to influence their perspective on the world in a positive way and is significantly impactful.
Diversity and inclusion shine the light on actors portraying different elements that can inspire kids to be anything they want in life, such as the next president, future teachers, and doctors. It can change how they view the world in a positive way and is very impactful.
What are the five things you wish someone had told you when you first started, and why? Please give an example of a tale for each.
Take a break.
Being able to take a step back to refresh and take a breather is crucial to flourishing in your art creativity. Consistency and hard work go hand and hand when you’re truly invested in your craft. It can also become draining at times, so for me, being able to take a step back to become refreshed and have a breather are essential for excelling within your craft.
Stay focused.
Being structured, keeps the train moving and keeps things from becoming confused. There is so much that can happen in a year, month or even a week, so missed opportunities can arise and it can keep you unfocused. Being organized keeps the train moving, as they say, so things don’t become confusing.
Elevating in anything takes a great amount of investment in yourself and investing in your craft. If we don’t make self-investments, there will be no improvement and it makes you take the extra step toward that commitment of reaching your goals and dreams.
Set your own limits.
The only person who can do that is yourself. If you are focused on what everyone else is doing, you will never move ahead. You have to know your own limits so that you are able to not only overcome them but to break through them. It is an important part of the creative process. The main message I have gained is to never allow anyone to set any type of limit for you and that you have to live limitless in life as well break boundaries. It’s a crucial step in the creative process.
Dream BIG.
Dreaming big is a very important element to me because the world we live in tells us to dream logically and realistically and not outside the box, so thinking that way will only present negative results and you will be unhappy. When you dream big you have something to work toward and dreaming small puts you in a small box. My thing is to never put your mind in a box, never be afraid to take big steps and remember to always think about the final destination and what you’re moving toward. Thinking small won’t get you where you want to go.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them thrive and not “burn out”?
- Dream big.
- Stay focused
- Have faith
- Be Optimistic
- Be True
- Be yourself.
- Stay consistent and creative.
- Never back down.
If you could inspire a movement that would bring the greatest amount of good to the greatest number of people, what would that be?
“I’d call it “Always remain hopeful, be focused, and have faith,” If I could inspire a movement, it would be called “always be optimistic, stay focused and have faith.“ I want to spread inspiration, and optimism to the world and impact the youth because everyone needs to be successful. There is so much depression in the world and people going through a hard time out there. We can change that, just by inspiring and empowering them with faith and hard work dedication. If you are going through so much and are able to remain optimistic and have faith through it all, you will definitely reach your goal. You will undoubtedly achieve your goal.
Can you please give us your favorite “life lesson quote”? Can you share how that was relevant to you in your life?
”Never surrender! Not giving up is a powerful message that many people can relate to. It was taught to me by my mother, Assata Kone, a diligent woman who worked her entire life to ensure that we had access to school, food on the table, and clothes to wear.”
It’s difficult to pursue your dreams and make them a reality, especially when no one believes in you. But believing in yourself can help you get closer to your goals and, eventually, make your dreams a reality.
I learned how to be unstoppable and became a force to be reckoned with.
That quote has defined my entire life, and I am confident that it will lead me to my goal because I never give up.
Is there a person in the world or in the US whom you would love to have a private breakfast or lunch with, and why?
“I’d love to have a private breakfast with Denzel Washington to express my gratitude for who he is and how inspirational he is to the world. I’d tell him that his comments have sparked a desire in me to improve as an actor and director and I aspire to be just like him, or even better.”
