RIGID Constructors, LLC, a Louisiana-based construction company, is expanding its operations in Texas. The company unveils its Dallas regional office, marking its second location within the state. Building upon their initial presence in Houston, RIGID Constructors’ expansion into Dallas highlights their continued growth and commitment to serving clients across Texas. This new regional office will enable them to deliver their renowned construction expertise to a wider range of projects and further solidify their position in the industry.
Operating as one of the Gulf Coast region’s largest fleets of company-owned earthmoving equipment, RIGID Constructors provides heavy civil and marine construction services to public and private sector clients.
RIGID’s Dallas office, at 2000 N. McDonald Street, Suite 100, in McKinney, Texas, manages the company’s projects in the North and West Regions of the Lone Star State.
“We’re thrilled to now have a physical presence in the heart of North Texas,” said Cody Fortier, CEO and owner of RIGID Constructors. “Dallas is the hub of transportation for the state and the region, and this will allow us to better serve our government and private sector clients’ infrastructure projects.”
RIGID’s expansion in Texas began at the end of October 2022 when the company was awarded a mass excavation landfill project for the North Texas Municipal Water District.
In the first five months of RIGID’s expansion into North and West Texas, the company was awarded $12 million in projects. As of June 1, RIGID has completed 1.5 million yards of work in the state and completed two projects:
- North Texas Municipal Water District Landfill Project, 720,000 yards of rock excavation and grading of 22 acres of landfill cell.
- West Texas Mining Project, a large aggregate mine, removal of 600,000 yards of overburden in 2.5 months.
Other RIGID Constructors projects underway in the North and West Texas Area:
- Excavation and grading for the Niagara Bottling Warehouse expansion
- A second North Texas Municipal Water District landfill expansion project
- Expansion of U.S. Route 281 in North Texas
- Involvement in the Martin County Community Complex
- Multi-building project for the Texas Department of Transportation District One Headquarters
“In a short time, we’ve been able to deliver on several diverse and major projects here in Texas,” said Derek Billiot, North Texas Area Manager for RIGID Constructors. “It really demonstrates the scope of our services, and we’re looking forward to continuing our success.”
