Buc-ee’s, renowned for its exceptionally clean restrooms, delicious food, and friendly atmosphere, is set to open its latest travel center in Harrison County, Mississippi, on Monday, June 9, 2025. The grand opening event will kick off at 6 a.m. CDT, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. CDT.

The new Buc-ee’s location, situated at 8245 Firetower Road in Pass Christian, will feature an impressive 74,000 square feet of space, 120 fueling positions, and 24 electric vehicle charging stations. Local leaders are expected to attend the ceremonial ribbon cutting, including Harrison County Board of Supervisors members Rebecca Powers, Marlin Ladner, Beverly Martin, Connie Rockco, and Kent Jones.

“Harrison County is a vibrant community with five thriving cities and stunning beaches. It is perfectly situated along I-10 between our Texas and Alabama stores, and we can’t wait to be the best place to stop on the Mississippi Coast,” remarked Stan Beard of Buc-ee’s.

The opening of Buc-ee’s in Harrison County will also create more than 200 jobs in the area, offering starting pay above the minimum wage, comprehensive benefits, a 6% matching 401k plan, and three weeks of paid vacation. Buc-ee’s continues its dedication to providing a friendly, safe, and enjoyable stop for travelers along the highway.

With the opening of this travel center, Buc-ee’s will operate a total of 52 stores across Texas and the Southern United States. Since launching its multi-state expansion in 2019, Buc-ee’s has successfully opened locations in several states, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, and Colorado.

As excitement builds for this new addition to the Mississippi Coast, travelers and locals alike can look forward to experiencing the unique offerings and warm hospitality that Buc-ee’s is known for.
