Vector Media, the largest transit media platform in the US, has won the advertising contract for Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), expanding its transit partnerships to the fifth largest Direct Market Area in the country. This follows Vector’s recent success in revitalizing Los Angeles’ transit infrastructure, solidifying its position as the fastest-growing and most innovative OOH company in the transit space. The DART contract includes all of DART’s media assets, covering bus, light rail, paratransit and station media across its fleet of over 800 transit vehicles. DART’s advertising platform also includes over 1,100 digitized interior screens across its fleet, with plans to add digital screens throughout Downtown Dallas.
DART covers 700 square miles, serving over 7.75 million residents in 12 surrounding cities as well as Dallas itself. DART’s advertising network consists of out-of-home media placements across its fleet, including bus advertising in different formats, as well as outdoor media placements on its four light-rail lines and unique large-format advertising opportunities at high-profile stations.
Dallas is the fastest-growing DMA in the country, with more than 150 corporate HQs having moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area since 2010, and is expected to become the third largest DMA (by population) in the coming years. Vector Media’s CEO, Marc Borzykowski, expressed excitement at the partnership with DART, recognizing the company’s innovative leadership and its potential to create new opportunities for advertisers and riders throughout the Dallas Metro area.
