A three-day art marathon is kicking off in New York — the event brings together well-known photographers and artists. Among the works on view will be photographs by the acclaimed fashion photographer Sasha Brons, which have repeatedly earned recognition at international competitions.
The exhibit will also feature unique paintings by the talented Marolin Jimenez, vivid graphic works by graphic designer Jiayin Chiang, and pieces by popular visual artists Mieyoshi Ragernoir and Rafael Rodriguez. On top of that, the art marathon will present contemporary literature by author Emmanuel Taveras.
“Building a community around art and giving artists the chance to show their work physically is extremely important in the digital age. Printed photography especially is perceived much more deeply, letting viewers see the smallest details,” said photographer Sasha Brons, who was invited to the large-scale event.
He added that art events like this open up access for local residents to see different kinds of art, and give artists new connections.
Dear, New York: The Art Escape is opening its doors for three days on Friday, September 11 at 5 pm, at 861 Gerard Ave in The Bronx. Over the three days, visitors will be able to enjoy the artwork and photography and talk with the artists. Admission is free.
