Agency Guacamole, a communications firm based in Los Angeles that supports leading beauty and lifestyle brands, announced that its founder and principal, Bilal Kaiser, has been named a finalist in the 2024 Campaign US Agency of the Year Awards. This prestigious marketing industry organization has recognized Kaiser’s work in the DEI Advocate category. Specifically, he has been acknowledged for his continued efforts on Agency Guacamole’s B.L.N.D. initiative, which most recently took place in Los Angeles in October.
“DE&I has been a key pillar of Agency Guacamole since we started, and to be a finalist in this category is incredible,” shared Kaiser. “Last fall was our seventh and largest B.L.N.D. event ever, and I’m thrilled to see the team’s hard work is getting recognized as we continue to make strides around diversity in our professional category.
“And to be named among this group of incredible finalists — wow! I’m so very honored,” he added.
The Campaign US Agency of the Year awards aim to recognize outstanding business performance, creative excellence, and inspiring leadership at various agencies across the United States. A panel of brand marketers headed by Kofi Amoo-Gottfried, CMO at Doordash, evaluated this year’s entries.
B.L.N.D. (Beauty, Lifestyle, and Nurturing Diversity) was founded by Kaiser in 2018. The panel and networking event have been held in Los Angeles, New York City, and Atlanta since then. The event series brings together industry executives, content creators, and key opinion leaders to speak on inclusivity themes in the beauty and lifestyle sectors.
This award is one of the many celebratory moments for Agency Guacamole in 2024, as the company marks its eighth year in business and plans to host an even more significant B.L.N.D. event this autumn.
