Hashque BT Miner Bitcoin Installation and Configuration Guide
Follow the directions below to set up your Hashque miner to mine cryptocurrency with the Hashque pool.
1) Installation
The first step is to connect a PSU (Power Supply Unit) to your Hashque miner. You can use special PSUs that are either made specifically for Bitcoin mining or even those made for servers.
After the machine is powered on for about 30s, normally the yellow light of the network port is always on and the green light is blinking. Press the IPFOUND function button (long button highlighted) on the miner control panel for more than 5s, the two LEDs on the right will flash a few times, indicating that the machine has broadcast the IP and MAC address of the unit to the network.
Notes:
(1) If all the lights on the panel of the machine control panel are not lit after power-on, please check whether the power supply of the 220V power cable and the 16A power cable is reliable and the connection is correct.
(2) If the indicator on the right side of the panel of the machine control panel is on, but the network port is not lit, or the green light is not flashing, check whether the switch is normal or whether the network cable connection is reliable.
Next, get on a computer or mobile device that is connected to the same network as the miner. You will need to enter the miner’s IP address. Since most miners now come with DHCP enabled you do not have to manually set the IP address, you just need to look at the IP table on your router or use a scanning tool. On the controller board, click the IP Report button (above). Hold it down until it beeps (about 5 seconds) and then you should be able to locate it.
A scanning tool like AngryIP or Locator from Minerstats allows you to scan every device on your network and see its IP address.
After getting your miner’s IP address, you are ready for Configuration.
2) Mining Pool Setup
Log In to the Miner Console
First, you need to open a web browser and enter the miner’s IP address. An interface will pop up which requires you to enter the login credentials; both default username and password are “admin”.
Worker: [HashqueUsername].workername Workername can be anything, but avoid using symbols or special characters as it may be an invalid username.
Password: 123
Mining Pool Setup
After logging in, go to the Configuration — CGMiner Configuration page and type in the pool setting in one of the three pool configuration boxes as follows:
Press Save & Apply after entering the pool information. You can restart the control board to make sure that the configuration is effective.
3) Monitor Revenue and Machine Performance
Once you’ve started hashing, grab yourself a beer! It’ll take about 5 minutes for your worker to appear on our stats page. To find your user, simply head to the Workers tab.
Happy Hashing!
