As an artist enamored by hip-hop from the moment it first hit his ears, Keylo JSR has cemented his position as one of Queen’s most notable rising stars in recent years. His latest single, ‘Be Alone’, showcases exactly why.
‘Be Alone’ is a collation of compelling vocals with Keylo JSR’s signature silky smooth delivery. This is his first release since ‘Bread’, which reached an impressive 10K streams in its first week and received praise from the likes of Cassidy. Additionally, his track ‘Zon3’ picked up support from Slip-n-Slide Records (home of Plies, Trick Daddy, Trina, and Rick Ross).
With Keylo flexing his versatility as an artist, ‘Be Alone’ is a more relaxed, down-tempo, and personal venture into the artist’s musical world. Above all, showcases how the worlds of R&B and hip-hop can collide in perfect harmony.
“This song represents having the strength and building in a relationship. No matter the ups and downs, stay by each other’s side and elevate one another.”

Enamored with music from the moment it hit his ears, Keylo Jsr has always refused to accept a life without it. For him, hip-hop has been his chosen vessel for communicating — it extends far beyond passion, as it’s also his own personal motivator. Today, the South Carolina-based rapper is intent on making it to the top of the rap game while enjoying every single moment to its fullest.
Throughout his back-catalog, Keylo Jsr’s unique mix of braggadocious, straight-talking, and free-flowing lyricism pivots around an ice-cold flow. His delivery packs a punch, unequivocally raising the bar for the hip-hop scene of his hometown, Queens. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Drake and Rick Ross, Keylo Jsr pulls from his own life experiences to create his songs, spanning an array of themes and topics depending on his mood when writing.
Born and bred in Queens, Manhattan, Keylo Jsr grew up in a part of the world that has already seen the likes of 50 Cent, LL Cool J, Nass, Mobb Deep, and many more of the rap hierarchy emerge from it over the years.
Growing up in an environment surrounded by drugs and violence, Keylo Jsr credits these early experiences as helping to mould him into the man he is today. He started to make his own music at the age of thirteen, with this outlet giving him both an art form to channel his energy into and a goal in which he could constantly work towards. As he began to take his craft more seriously throughout his teens, at the age of nineteen, Keylo Jsr found himself in trouble with the law and went on to serve five years in prison. Ever since his release, he has been working tirelessly on his music to carve out a sound that’s true to him.
With four singles now to his name, including ‘Bread’ which has received support from Cassidy, and ‘Zon3’ which has picked up support from Slip-n-Slide Records, the home of Plies, Trick Daddy, Trina, and Rick Ross, Keylo Jsr is finally beginning to put his own mark on the rap game. He also placed as a nominee for the best rap song at the Upstate Music Awards, a sure sign that the stars are aligning towards a bright future for Keylo Jsr. His next release, ‘Be Alone’, is set for release in December 2021.
