The story goes like so; French-Georgian pop star Van Hechter walked into The Stonewall Inn 3 years ago and was dumbfounded by resident DJ Chauncey Dandridge’s ability to make a crowd dance.
A friendship blossomed instantaneously…
Although the two men seem like absolute opposites, Van being a modern-day dandy- posh, witty, and slick, Chauncey being your typical gritty, hard-working, and rough New Yorker activist– a deep love of music links them as if they were attached at the hip. No wonder they refer to each other as ”Disco brothers”!
Well, the ‘Disco Brothers’ now have a charting post-pandemic dance anthem out on all platforms, entitled ‘The Delight‘! The song is uplifting, celebratory- everything we need to start over after a very gloomy time! Its dynamic groove– created by producer Eryck Wyseman– makes one want to press ”repeat” over and over while the catchy chorus stays in one’s heart and mind for days!
