The Sacramento Ultrasound Institute (SUI) has achieved CAAHEP accreditation for its Cardiac Sonography program, putting it in an esteemed group of only six California institutions to receive this recognition.
SUI prides itself on offering high-quality healthcare training with small class sizes and individualized attention. Their state-of-the-art equipment ensures students receive hands-on experience and practical knowledge.
In 2022, SUI added the Cardiac Sonography program, the only one of its kind in the greater Sacramento area, further expanding their educational offerings. Dr. Bashir Noori, the Cardiac Program Director, is proud of this achievement, which demonstrates the faculty’s dedication and the program’s quality. The Cardiac Sonography program complements SUI’s longest-running program, the CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, which has been training skilled sonographers since 2001.
SUI is accredited by ABHES and approved by BPPE to operate, and was named School of the Year by CAPPS in 2019 for its commitment to providing students with industry-aligned career training and support.
