Meet Mr. Hanlin Goh, a Singaporean national who graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a focus on financial technology and blockchain. Hanlin’s academic background in finance, investment banking, and risk management provided him with a deep understanding of the complexities of the financial world and honed his analytical skills. He actively seeks to leverage technology to drive financial innovation and is at the forefront of industry development.
Aside from his academic achievements, Hanlin actively participated in extracurricular activities and industry-related projects to develop his leadership and teamwork skills. He is renowned for his strong work ethic and constant drive to expand his knowledge and skills, attending industry conferences, financial seminars, and workshops to stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in the financial field.
During a financial seminar in Chicago in 2019, Hanlin met James Kim, a quantitative analyst at Barclays Bank. They exchanged contact information and engaged in discussions that provided mutually beneficial advice. After prolonged communication, James resigned from Barclays Bank in March 2020 and co-founded Ark Community with Hanlin in June 2020. The community aims to share trading strategies and bring positive reputation to underprivileged communities in the financial industry. As a result, the community expanded globally, spanning over 20 countries by 2023, becoming a large-scale trading community.
