Subaru of America Reports Sales for September 2025

Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) has announced its sales figures for September 2025, recording a total of 46,007 vehicle sales for the month and year-to-date sales of 483,037, reflecting a 2.1 percent decrease compared to the previous year.

For the fifth consecutive month, the Subaru Crosstrek topped the sales chart, with 14,321 units sold in September. Following closely behind was the Outback, with 12,406 sales, and the Forester with 10,954 units sold.

Jeff Walters, President and Chief Operating Officer of Subaru of America, emphasized the importance of their retailers in achieving these results. “As always, we appreciate the steadfast efforts of our retailers, whose responsive service and community involvement continue to set Subaru apart,” he stated. Walters also highlighted the upcoming launch of several new models as a pivotal moment for the brand. “Many retailers will be celebrating Subaru Loves Pets® by hosting local pet adoption events, reinforcing our commitment to enriching the lives of our customers and their families.”

Troy Poston, Senior Vice President of Sales at Subaru of America, echoed the positive sentiment surrounding the Crosstrek, noting its continued popularity among customers. He mentioned, “There’s growing excitement for our newest vehicles, including the versatile 2026 Crosstrek Hybrid, redesigned 2026 Solterra EV, and new 2026 Forester Wilderness. With an even wider range of vehicles arriving soon, our retailers are ready to guide every customer to their perfect vehicle, offering unmatched quality, value, and performance.”
