Digital art in the form of non-fungible tokens has exploded in popularity in recent months. Athletes, celebrities, and even the former first lady Melania Trump have launched NFT projects.
It appears that members of the cryptocurrency communities have decided to poke fun at the new craze for digital goods. On Saturday, a Twitter user by the name of Crypto Tommy made a post promoting a new NFT project with the communist theorist Karl Marx featured prominently in the art.
The Karl Marx NFT Collection will be launched on the Solana blockchain and be sold for 0.5 Solana coins, equivalent to around 60 USD.
