Buc-ee’s, known for its clean restrooms, fresh food, and friendly beaver mascot, will begin construction on its first location in Virginia on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. EST. The new travel center will be located at the intersection of Friedens Church Road and I-81 in Rockingham County. The groundbreaking ceremony will be attended by local leaders, including Dewey L. Visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of Buc-ee’s classic menu items, such as Texas barbeque, homemade fudge, kolaches, Beaver Nuggets, jerky, and fresh pastries. In addition, the store will feature thousands of snack, meal, and drink options, as well as award-winning restrooms, quality products, and excellent service that Buc-ee’s is known for.
