For the full year, Hyundai reported record annual retail sales of approximately 772,712 vehicles, the fifth straight year the company has set a new retail sales benchmark. Total sales for 2025 reached around 901,686 units, representing the third consecutive annual record. This strong performance reflects continued demand across Hyundai’s model lineup, including key SUV and electrified vehicle segments.
Hyundai’s hybrid models delivered exceptional growth in December, with hybrid total sales jumping 71 percent and setting a new monthly record. Popular hybrid and electrified vehicles such as the Elantra, Tucson, Santa Fe, and Palisade contributed significantly to these gains. Randy Parker, president and chief executive officer of Hyundai Motor North America, attributed the record achievements to strong dealer partnerships and customer trust. He noted that Hyundai’s diverse product portfolio, including advanced electrified technologies and well-received SUVs, has helped the brand maintain momentum in a competitive U.S. market. Parker also expressed confidence in Hyundai’s strategy as the company enters 2026, with plans to expand technology offerings and continue delivering innovative vehicles.
