From his experience scaling the Atlanta-based law firm Bader Scott Injury Lawyers into a multi-eight-figure business, Luis Scott, managing partner of the firm, learned how to use subtle consumer patterns in his favor to generate predictable growth.
Over the past year, Scott, who is also the co-founder and lead consultant of 8 Figure Firm, has compiled the lessons from the success of Bader Scott Injury Lawyers to develop a comprehensive book on how to utilize these patterns of behavior to create predictability and growth.
In recent days, Scott has finally announced the release of his latest book, The King of Growth, on May 19. This Puerto-Rico native law entrepreneur hopes this book will become the definitive guide on building and scaling a law firm.
With The King of Growth, “my main purpose is [showing] you how you can create predictability in your business,” explained Scott in a recent video interview. “If you can create predictability, your business will be transformed drastically.”
Over the past two years, with his company, 8 Figure Firm, Scott has earned significant recognition as an expert in law firm management. Scott and his business partner, Seth Bader, have assisted dozens of law firms nationwide in scaling to eight figures in annual revenue and beyond. Nowadays, Scott and Bader travel across the United States doing one-on-one consulting with other law entrepreneurs and hosting mastermind conferences.
In a recent interview, Scott connected via Zoom from his residence in Atlanta, Georgia, to talk about the upcoming release of his latest book, The King of Growth. During this exclusive interview, he discussed the importance of predictability in business growth.
Scott’s experience managing a multi-eight-figure law firm taught him that behind the seemingly random fluctuations in consumer behavior are predictable patterns that law firm owners can use to their advantage.
“The primary thesis of [The King of Growth] is that people are predictable,” said Scott. “You can use the predictability of human behavior to obtain a determined outcome.”
Understanding the patterns that govern consumer behavior can allow law entrepreneurs to strategize their marketing campaigns and allocate the labor and resources necessary to generate new leads and increase revenue.
“If you put a certain amount of work; if you put a certain amount of money; if you create a certain amount of awareness, you can grow your business using the predictability of human behavior,” said Scott.
Scott recognizes that his formula for utilizing predictability to prompt business growth is by no means magical. While some law firm owners can obtain results within the first year, others might require longer to reach the desired outcome.
The timing of results “is different for everybody; that’s the only variable that no one can predict,” said Scott. “It could take one person ten months; it could take another person two years, or it could take another person five years.”
Yet, Scott stresses that consistency is vital. Knowing how to navigate the fluctuations of consumer behavior is not enough to guarantee an immediate return on investment. As Scott explains, law firm owners must possess perseverance and be willing to execute with discipline before attaining any tangible results.
“What I do know,” concluded Scott, “is that if you spend the money, create the message, and execute consistently for some time, it will create predictability and lead generation.”
With The King of Growth, law entrepreneurs will find the keys to creating predictability and other principles for operating and scaling their law firms. This book will become available through Amazon beginning on May 19.
